For procurement teams and parts distributors serving heavy equipment operators, the CAT C13 Fuel Injector 10R-7236 is an official Caterpillar remanufactured diesel fuel injector purpose-built for C13 engine platforms. It is indexed under multiple part number formats to support cross-channel sourcing and matching: the core Caterpillar reman number is 10R-7236, while the no-dash variant 10R7236 is widely used for quotations and marketplace searches. It also covers supplier cross-reference numbers 249-0705, 2490705, and catalog-style prefix CA10R7236 to align with common buyer search terms.

This heavy-duty injector is designed for the Caterpillar C13 diesel engine family, an inline 6-cylinder, 4-stroke platform with 12.5L displacement, 130.0mm bore, and 157.0mm stroke. Confirmed compatible equipment includes the CAT 735 articulated truck, 349 excavator, and 980L, 980M, 982M wheel loaders, with use cases spanning construction, mining, industrial, off-highway, truck, and material handling sectors. It supports both stationary industrial power and mobile heavy equipment fuel injection requirements.

To reduce the risk of incorrect part selection, buyers should not select this part based solely on the C13 engine model designation. Pre-purchase verification via the original injector tag, existing part number, engine serial number, machine serial number, and fuel system configuration is required for correct fitting. Public Caterpillar parts information recognizes 10R-7236 as a valid reman injector for listed C13 applications, supporting accurate, transparent part matching for B2B maintenance and spare parts procurement.
