Caterpillar original Common Rail Diesel Fuel Injector 359-7434, 20R-1304, 374-0751, 20R-2285 Replacement for Diesel Engines, Truck, Excavator original new injector

Designed for Caterpillar C-series diesel engine maintenance, repair and overhaul workflows, the 359-7434 is a heavy-duty mechanical electronic fuel injector GP built for CAT diesel engine platforms. As a core fuel delivery component, it supplies precise fuel volume at exact timing per Caterpillar’s engineering requirements, including reliable operation with low-sulfur and low-lubricity fuels. Its primary OE part number is 359-7434 (alternate search format: 3597434), with an associated remanufactured replacement number 20R-1304 and cross-search identifiers CA3597434 and CA20R1304 for parts database matching.

This injector is primarily engineered for Caterpillar C15 diesel engines, with listed fitment for selected C18 engine applications across industrial, petroleum, power generation, heavy-duty commercial vehicle, construction, mining and marine auxiliary power sectors. Common catalog-listed equipment matches include CAT XQ500 power systems, SR4B generators, and CX31-P600-C18I/CX35-P800-C18I petroleum power train packages. Aftermarket references to CAT 349E equipment and C13 engines are conditional and not universally compatible.

Available supply options include genuine new, remanufactured and aftermarket replacement units, with each injector sold individually. To prevent incorrect fitment, unplanned downtime and potential equipment damage, buyers must verify compatibility via engine serial number, arrangement number, injector trim code, ECM calibration, equipment model and the official Caterpillar parts catalog before ordering, as injector specifications vary by model year, emissions configuration, power rating and fuel system setup.
